Während Lea und Luis sehnsüchtig auf den ersten Schnee warten, ist Petronella damit beschäftigt, ihren Apfel auf Vordermann zu bringen. Ihre Schwestern, die Wetterhexen, kommen zu Besuch. In all dem vorweihnachtlichen Trubel bemerkt keiner den seltsamen Gast, der sich in der Mühle einnistet. Der Weihnachtsmann hat den frechen Wichtel auf der letzten Probefahrt kurzerhand ausgesetzt. Jetzt sorgt er im Müllerhaus für reichlich Wirbel. Anfangs ahnt niemand, wer hinter den Streichen steckt. Alle verdächtigen sich gegenseitig und der Ärger ist vorprogrammiert! Zum Glück kommt Petronella rechtzeitig dahinter, wer da sein Unwesen treibt, und kann ein noch schlimmeres Chaos verhindern. Am Ende gibt es doch noch ein wunderbares Weihnachtsfest - inklusive Schnee. Drei Wetterhexen sei Dank!
